Certificate IV in Autonomous Control and Remote Operations
This qualification is for controllers who run automated plant and equipment from a control centre. It covers complex control systems, safety risks in autonomous operations, staying aware of what is happening, making decisions and working with others remotely. Experienced controllers may be able to have their skills recognised through RPL.

Qualification structure
13 units in total. At least 1 must be from the elective units listed below. Up to 3 may be from elsewhere in this or any other currently endorsed training package or accredited course. Where units selected from other Training Packages or accredited courses have prerequisites, the requirements of the host Training Package must be met. Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the overall integrity of the AQF alignment, not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen for the qualification, and contribute to a valid industry-supported vocational outcome.
