Certificate III in Print Binding, Finishing and Packaging

This qualification covers the finishing stages of print work, done by hand or by machine. Workers handle binding, finishing and packaging after printing, check quality, solve problems and may guide others. People already working in print finishing could have their experience counted through RPL.

Qualification structure

21 units in total. 6 elective units must be from Group A Technical units. 4 elective units must be from Group A Technical units and/or Group B Support units. 3 units must be chosen from Group A Technical units, Group B Support units or any other qualification in ICP Training Package at this level or one level below or above. 3 units may be selected from the remaining listed elective units or any currently endorsed training package or accredited course at Certificate III or IV level. Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
